........ We’re putting the band back together. After a long retirement from the smoke filled bars, lounges and cheap motels, the Roadhouse Kings have reclaimed their heritage and are lending their musical talents from the past into the present. We have brought the original members back to product their unique blend of Country Western, Blues, Southern Rock and early rock and roll to give their audiences a wide variety of music to dance to or just reminisce. The “Kings” members come from diverse musical geography ranging from Detroit to New Orleans to Bakersfield and everywhere in between.
The group renewed their legacy and months of rehearsals have taken us back to the roots of our music and allowed us to put together a list of songs that bring back memories of yesterday and forever.
We have been working extremely hard on putting the band back into the circuit and are in the final stages of selecting songs for our next CD release.
One of the original members “Slippery” Jack Francis has been a crowd pleaser with his straightforward sense of humor and ability to make silk out of his steel guitar. Another original member Ken “Bugsy” Renshaw gives the band diversity with his keyboard and guitar accompaniments. Ken also adds some great lead singing and harmonies to the group.
The “new” original members are Mike Kenny on lead vocals and guitar. “Insane” Dayne Brenneman bringing in the low end on bass and Charlie “Eddie” on percussion.
